Searching for Mr Michael Leary |
|
Mr Charles Camp is searching fror Mr Michael Leary and sends the following information:
" I attended St. Mary's from 1948 to 1956 and then did two years National Service before going to Sheffield University. Michael Leary was in the same alpha classes with me, certainly for the last four years. I know he took a BCom at Liverpool from 1956 onwards and I heard later qualified in accountancy before lecturing on the subject at Liverpool. I grew up in Ormskirk, later married and lived in Hilldale Village (near Parbold) in Lancashire and became the Factory Cost Accountant for Jacob's Biscuits in Aintree for 35 years. With Seafield's demise, like the daughters of many fellow pupils, two of mine went to MTGS next door to St. Mary's which as a consequence meant we moved to Blundellsands facing the sea for an 18 year spell. I really should have made enquiries then as my wife and I now live much further away in a small hamlet in Wiltshire. Michael Leary's address when a pupil was 1, Rockland Road, Waterloo. If you could assist me in any way, point me in the right direction, or give me a useful e-mail address or telephone number, it would be greatly appreciated."
