Smooth-talking fifth formers at St Mary's College, Crosby are hoping to score a hat-trick of successes next month.
The five pupils will employ their gift of the gab in a national public speaking competition after "talking" away with the Merseyside and North-west titles.
The final of the competition, organised by the Knights of St Columba, will be held at Keele University.
The youngsters chose euthanasia as their topic for discussion, led by main speaker John Mckenna (far left).
