Chosen as Leader
St. Mary's College sixth former Charles Dickinson, of Blundellsancis Road West, has been chosen by the Young Christian Students Movement to lead a sevenday "Summer Week " in Aylesford Kent.
The week, which is expected to attract between 45 and 50 students from all parts of the country, gets under way on Friday, August 3, Said Charles: "We have chosen the theme ‘Work and Leisure' and, during the week, we hope to discuss this in great detail. We will also be having outings to various places of interest."
Y.C.S. is an interdenominational, international organisation dedicated towards bringing students closer to Christ. Charles is a member of the North Merseyside branch.
Helping him with the runfling of the week will be the North Merseyside Area Chaplain, the Rev. Fr. Jim Gallagher, who is currently teachinj at the Salesian Coland lane Cullen from Southampton, who will act as his co-leader.
